Lectors

Proclaiming the Word of God to the assembly is no easy task, but it is a challange each lector accepts.  In proclaiming the Word, the lector adds another vibrant dimension to the Liturgy.

The Lectors meeting of 30 January appeared to be a great success.  The meeting was opened by our Mass Coordinator, who presented the group with items concerning how they have been performing their miistry, and some do's and dont's.
Fr. Patrick then spoke to the group, passing on some hints he learned in Seminary.
after that, several members had the opportunity to read a selected text and were critiqued by the assembly.
It was unanamous that this exercise was most helpful.
Our next meeting will be in about 6 months.  As with this one, refreshments will be served.
